Sun Lakes Arizona by Robson Communities is a magnificent 6,600 home community. It is a friendly 3,500 acre resort style active adult community. It is comprised of five country club style neighborhoods that each have their own golf course. A generous assortment of world-class amenities and social activities cater to the non-golfers who reside in Sun Lakes. The Five Communities Are Sun Lakes Phase 1, Cottonwood, Palo Verde, Ironwood and Oakwood. Some of the communities are gated. Adjacent to the Sun Lakes communities is a luxury retirement apartment community called Renaissance.

There are approximately 6,700 homes in these communities and include everything from 3,500+ sq ft Luxury homes to Town homes and Manufactured homes that were in Phase 1 of Sun Lakes beginning in 1973. Price Ranges from $500,000 - $75,000. Many properties border the golf courses, lakes, and common areas. All communities are in pristine condition and have beautiful landscaping.

Sun Lakes is in a great location on the south side of Chandler just 24 miles from downtown Phoenix. The community is conveniently located within minutes to I-10 and the 202 loop. Gilbert, Mesa and many popular shopping outlets in Chandler are a short drive from the community.

The five sections of Sun Lakes are Oakwood, Ironwood, Cottonwood, Palo Verde and Sun Lakes Country Club. Each neighborhood has a unique look and feel. The Oakwood and Ironwood golf courses are open to the public. Cottonwood, Palo Verde and Sun Lakes Country Club are private equity golf courses.

There is a clubhouse in each of Sun Lakes five sections which include fitness centers, restaurants, hobby rooms, swimming pools and ballrooms. The grounds of Sun Lakes are joined together by miles of walking and biking trails, scenic parks, fishing lakes, bocce ball courts and tennis courts.

Homes in Sun Lakes were built over a 30-year time period. As a result, home styles and prices vary dramatically. Some buyers prefer reasonably priced older homes while other buyers opt for more newly constructed homes that feature modern floor plans and desirable upgrades.

The original phase of Sun Lakes offers some manufactured housing. Otherwise, home buyers can choose from a wide assortment of single family and town homes and that range from 1,000 to 3,500 square feet.
